History
Emrise Corporation is an international manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronics and telecommunications equipment that encompasses two wholly owned subsidiaries. The Company formed in 1983, has carried on business under the current name since 1995. In excess of 60% of the company’s sales are in the Defense and Aerospace markets and over 75% in the International market. EEC and it’s International subsidiaries, XCEL Japan and XCEL Corporation Ltd and it’s subsidiaries, were formed in 1983 under the name XCEL Corporation and acquired Digitran in 1986, XCEL Power Systems Ltd. in 1996 and Pascall Electronics Ltd in 2005. CXR Larus and Its subsidiary CXR Anderson Jacobson operate as the Telecommunications group: CXR Anderson Jacobson, a company organized under the laws of France, was founded in 1974, and CXR Telcom Corporation, a Delaware corporation, formed in 1984. CXR Corporation was formed as their parent company in 1989, following CXR Telcom's acquisition of Halcyon Communications and of Anderson Jacobson Inc. in 1986. Following the reverse merger in 1997, Emrise Corporation acquired Critical Communications a small Test equipment manufacturer in Chicago. In 2000, we acquired the Belix Group in the UK and T-COM, reinforcing our power systems business and expanding our test instrument capabilities respectively. In 2004, we acquired Larus Corporation located in San Jose, reinforcing our Telecommunication Network Access presence in the US and provding a platform to target the critical Timing and Synchronisation business with their established product range. In 2005, we aquired Pascall Electronics Ltd located in the UK to broaden our power systems product offering and market, and provide an entry into the RF component and systems market. We are focused on generating value for our Customers by offering world-class products to meet the exacting requirements of our international customer base.
