EMRISE’s Stock Will Continue to Trade Under the Ticker Symbol ‘ERI’

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, March 29, 2006- EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communications equipment, today announced that by virtue of its previous listing on the Archipelago Exchange (ArcaEx) in August 2005, the company’s common stock now trades on NYSE Arca, formerly known as ArcaEx. NYSE Arca is operated by the NYSE Group Inc., which was created as a result of the recently completed merger between Archipelago Holdings, Inc. and the New York Stock Exchange, Inc.
