EMRISE CORPORATION’S CXR ANDERSON JACOBSON SUBSIDIARY LAUNCHES NEW POINT OF SALE PRODUCT LINE 2006 REVENUE IS EXPECTED TO EXCEED $2 MILLION RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, April 4, 2006 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communications equipment, today announced that its French subsidiary CXR Anderson Jacobson (“CXR-AJ”) has launched a new product line: General Packet Radio System (“GPRS”) and Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (“ADSL”) Point of Sale (“POS”) products with expected sales of $2 million in 2006. CXR-AJ has been a major player in the French POS market over the last 10 years, using the Integrated Services Digital Network (“ISDN”) network. The new product line integrates state of the art encryption and GPRS and ADSL technologies and has recently been certified for use by the French Credit Card authorities. This new product line protocol gives CXR-AJ a significant advantage in the large POS market. The new product line provides the interconnection between the POS terminal and the bank or retailer’s network with CXR-AJ providing both the terminal connection and the bank or retailers central site access point for credit card verification and processing. The new secure product line incorporates Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) encryption and utilizes GPRS and ADSL networks rather than the historic ISDN networks that have been traditionally used mainly in Europe. This new product line goes beyond the capabilities of ISDN, opening up the global market for CXR-AJ’s products. Commenting on the new product line, Graham Jefferies, Chief Operating Officer of EMRISE Corporation stated, “The POS market has been a core business for CXR-AJ for many years. However, the previous product line had been focused on the domestic French market only. This exciting line of new products replaces the x.25/ISDN infrastructure with SSL encryption over GPRS/ADSL which is becoming the accepted international standard, and will give CXR-AJ access to a much larger world market and specifically the targeted North American market.” Carmine T. Oliva, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of EMRISE Corporation commented, “Our CXR-AJ subsidiary has, for too long, been totally dependant upon the French POS market. This new line of POS products addresses not only the French POS market, but also the large North American market, significantly expanding the available opportunity for these new products. Our CXR Larus subsidiary in the U.S. will provide the channels to the North American market in support of our CXR-AJ subsidiary. We are pleased that our CXR-AJ subsidiary completed this technologically advanced product line and have had the product line successfully certified by the French Credit Card authorities.” About EMRISE CORPORATION EMRISE Corporation is a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communications equipment.
