EMRISE CORPORATION’S SUBSIDIARY, RO ASSOCIATES, RECEIVES FOLLOW-ON ORDER FOR MILITARY POWER SUPPLIES TOTAL 2006 SHIPMENTS ARE EXPECTED TO EXCEED $800,000 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, October 3, 2006 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communications equipment, today announced that its subsidiary, RO Associates, has won a follow-on order for power supply products from a major military systems integrator. The products will be used in a ground support program for military vehicles. EMRISE expects that total shipments of these products to this customer during 2006 will exceed $800,000. The new order builds upon RO’s previous success with this customer for products with similar applications. RO’s power supply products provide up to 6 kilowatts of conditioned direct current power for any type of military field equipment Commenting on the order, Richard Okada, President of RO Associates, said: “Securing this business represents a significant milestone for RO, and is a substantial commitment by our customer to the long term use of RO power supplies. Since RO’s acquisition by EMRISE in September 2005, we have channelled a significant amount of our sales and marketing resources in seeking customized, higher-margin military and aerospace and other harsh environment opportunities on larger long-running programs to complement our traditional range of standard power supplies.” Graham Jefferies, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of EMRISE, commented: ”We believe that this commitment by our customer is reflective of RO’s increasing stature in the military and aerospace markets. With EMRISE’s recent acquisitions of RO and Pascall, coupled with our long-standing Xcel Power Systems business, we are now better able to bring together a breadth of technologies and products and the financial stability of a larger U.S. and European-based group of power supply companies which many smaller U.S. and European power supply companies are unable to match.” About EMRISE CORPORATION EMRISE Corporation is a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and communications equipment.
