EMRISE CORPORATION’S DIGITRAN DIVISION AWARDED CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF ROTARY SWITCHES FOR THE NEW BOEING 787 DREAMLINER AIRCRAFT RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, September 24, 2007 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that its Digitran Division a wholly owned subsidiary of EMRISE Electronics Corporation (“EEC”), has been awarded a contract by a sub-contractor to Boeing for the supply of rotary switches for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. All necessary “Flight Safety” tests have been completed to allow the use of Digitran switches on the aircraft and Digitran has already delivered the first units under the contract. Commenting on the award and initial deliveries, EMRISE Chairman, President and CEO, Carmine T. Oliva, said, “We are pleased to receive this initial award for switches for the new Boeing 787 aircraft. Based on our rapid response to the sub-contractor for this requirement we have received other requests for other rotary switches for this aircraft. We also look forward to working with the sub-contractor on other additional aircraft programs. This success follows the previously announced award of a contract for Digitran switches for the Air Bus A 380 super jumbo jet. EMRISE products are now scheduled to fly on two of the newest and most prestigious commercial aircraft under development. This contract is the latest in several EEC and Digitran contracts to be awarded for the fast growing commercial aircraft and business jet market. This growing commercial business adds to our already extensive primary military aircraft business. These custom rotary switches for commercial aircraft applications are complimented by Digitran’s patented brand of standard very low profile VLP® rotary switches, recently launched in a worldwide distribution program through Powell Electronics, Inc., which address the much higher volume and broader industrial, medical and portable equipment markets. While we continue to expand our historic military switch business into the much faster growing commercial aircraft market it is the commercial aircraft market that is the far greater revenue market for our new “In-Flight Entertainment and Communications” (IFE&C) product offering.
