EMRISE CORPORATION APPOINTS MICHAEL J. ROBINSON DIRECTOR OF NORTH AMERICAN COMMUNICATIONS PRODUCTS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

New Position to Develop North American Market for Network Access Products

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA—May 6, 2008—EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a designer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary electronic devices and communications equipment for aerospace, defense, industrial, and communications applications, today announced the appointment of veteran communications industry executive Michael J. Robinson as director of business development for network access communications products.

Robinson has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and general management experience in the communications industry and will be responsible for increasing sales of network access products in North America through the Company’s communications products subsidiaries CXR Larus Corporation in the U.S. and CXR Anderson Jacobson in France.

Prior to EMRISE, Robinson was vice president and general manager of Alameda, Calif.-based Coastcom Inc., a leading manufacturer of network access communications equipment, including connectivity equipment and protocols for next-generation communications, for public and private networks. Robinson was also executive vice-president of Eschelon Telecom, a leading regional telecommunications services provider that in 2007 was acquired by Integra Telecom, and has also held management positions at other telecommunications carriers.

Robinson, who resides in Sausalito, is a former captain in the U.S. Army. He holds a bachelors degree from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, and an MBA in International Business from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Carmine T. Oliva commented: . “Mike is a major addition to our management team and brings not only a proven track record of success but also considerable knowledge of the North American markets. We believe his strong background in products and marketing, combined with his management experience, provide the capabilities and leadership we need to drive sales growth of communications products in North America.

. “Mike will also lead the implementation of our strategic plan to expand sales of our French designed and built products in North America,” Oliva added. “For many years our French-made communications products were sold only in the European and French- speaking North African markets. However, with our new universally applicable TiemPo™ network timing and other products, we see an opportunity to address the needs of the relatively larger market in North America. We believe that Mike adds direct knowledge of this target market and breadth of experience we need to succeed with this strategy, and we welcome Mike to the management team.”
