EMRISE Corporation Introduces New StarSync™ Edge 6800 Next Generation Timing Product

Second Product from Development Agreement with Brilliant Telecommunications Provides End-to-End Solution for Most Complex Next Generation Networks

LAS VEGAS - June 17, 2008 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca:ERI), a Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-headquartered multinational designer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary electronic devices and communications equipment for aerospace, defense, industrial, and communications applications, today announced the introduction of its StarSync™ Edge 6800 next generation network timing system at the NXTcomm08 Conference in Las Vegas. First production shipments for the StarSync™ 6800 are projected for Q3 2008. The NXTcomm08 conference, which replaces SUPERCOMM as the one event delivering the entire spectrum of network-enabled voice, video, and data, is taking place from June 16 – 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The StarSync™ Edge 6800, released by the Company’s CXR Larus Corporation subsidiary, is the second product from the joint marketing and product development collaboration with Brilliant Telecommunications Inc. of Campbell, Calif., originally announced April 1, 2008.

The StarSync™ 6800 is a rack-mountable high accuracy, carrier-class Network Time Protocol (NTP) and Precise Time Protocol (PTP/IEEE1588V2) Client Product designed to operate in parallel with the StarSync™ 6850 NTP/PTP server, which was the first product developed from the EMRISE/Brilliant relationship.

EMRISE President and CEO Carmine T. Oliva said that Brilliant technology is being integrated into EMRISE’s existing suite of timing and synchronization products to reduce cost and shorten engineering cycle time to market for its expanding range of product offerings. “We believe these new products will position our CXR Larus subsidiary for dynamic growth in 2008 and beyond,” Oliva commented.

The 6800 and the 6850 are part of a family of products providing wire-speed NTP/PTP IEEE1588 v2 with unparalleled accuracy.
