EMRISE CORPORATION RECEIVES $2 MILLION IN ORDERS FOR RADIO FREQUENCY DEVICES FOR SIGNAL JAMMING SYSTEMS FOR U.S. MILITARY Deliveries Scheduled for 2008; Additional Orders Expected RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—September 18, 2008—EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca: ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received $2 million in orders for radio frequency (RF) devices to be used in vehicle-mounted, remote-controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIED) jamming systems designed to prevent the detonation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), often called roadside bombs, that have cost thousands of lives in ongoing global military conflicts. Deliveries against these orders are expected to begin this month and be completed by December 31, 2008. Since 2005, the Company’s recently acquired subsidiary, Eatontown, New Jersey-based Advanced Control Components, Inc. (ACC), has been developing and supplying a variety of electronic RF devices used in U.S. military programs involving RCIED jamming. ACC received these orders and expects additional orders in connection with its customer’s ongoing program. The potential for additional orders was not included in the Company’s recent outlook for ACC revenue of $17 million to $18 million over the first 12 months—and therefore represents upside potential for that outlook.
