EMRISE CORPORATION TO PRESENT AT REMOTE MONITORING & CONTROL 2012 CONFERENCE
Prestigious Conference Addresses World Utilities Markets, a Key EMRISE Focus
DURHAM, NC - September 13, 2012…EMRISE CORPORATION (OTCQB: EMRI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, announced today that Company management will be presenting at the Remote Monitoring and Control 2012 conference Sept. 18-19 in Denver. The conference focuses on the leading advancements for the monitoring of distributed equipment and facilities, remote assets, infrastructure, automated processes and system controls and device networks.
Mike Ritz, Director, CXR Larus Corp., a subsidiary of EMRISE, will be making a presentation titled "Smart Solutions for Network IP Migration" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19. His presentation will review Communications-over-IP solutions and will highlight recent developments related to utility substation and transportation networks, specifically for more stringent requirements for data and voice services.
The presentation is directly related to the Company's recently launched, versatile CIP-ALL range of products which connect legacy systems and equipment to Ethernet and IP networks. With many utility and transportation customers moving their communication solutions to packet-based IP networks, this is an expanding industry and an important market for EMRISE, noted EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva.
"We believe based on the enthusiasm we are already experiencing from customers, that our CIP-ALL range of products offers important new solutions in a rapidly evolving and growing communication technology," Oliva said. "That tells us that our product development team, with its focus on penetrating the utilities markets in Europe and the U.S.,is on the right track and that this new product range has the potential to be a new important revenue driver."
More information on the conference and the EMRISE presentation can be found at www.remotemagazine.com/conferences.
CIP-ALL supports a complete range of industry standard interfaces, providing pseudo-wire emulation over Ethernet-IP using fiber or copper media. The product range provides for full integration into global network management systems and QoS (Quality of Service) management systems. The product range is versatile with a wide variety of interfaces from analog telephony to data and video. In telecommunications and computer networking, a pseudo-wire is an emulation of a point-to-point connection over a packet-switching network.
